We’ve been fortunate to work with a variety of creative teams and individuals—and boy have we learned a lot about the unique ways that game developers and other creators work, where they’re lacking support, and the kind of standardization or flexibility that could benefit them.

Between projects, we honed our skills and learned how to best support devs. We started offering complimentary Wikipedia and IMDb audits to any devs who inquired, even if we didn’t end up working together. We’ve always been happy to share knowledge, make connections, and help secure or moderate public wiki pages. After nearly 3 years, we’ve never left a Notion or Fandom workspace behind, always sticking around to support teams should they need us.

We started this particular project months ago, and our goal is to return to it in a way that is sustainable—as a freely accessible public resource, reliably curated & maintained by human caretakers, and supported by community funding.

The work isn’t hypothetical—it doesn’t hinge on a funding goal to get started. We’re already doing it, and have been since the beginning. We’re passionate about this, we care about creatives, we know we can help and we get it done. 💃🏾
